After a few years apart, we were beyond excited to gather together again for our 2022 Global Leadership and Innovation Conference (GLIC), held in Bangkok, Thailand, August 6–7.
We kicked things off early with a special leadership training on Friday the 5th, which included in-depth trainings for nearly 900 leaders who have reached the rank of Presidential Director or above. Some of Unicity’s top Distributors from all around the world presented on specific principles they’ve used to grow their business, and leaders left inspired to take their businesses to new heights.
Later that night, Diamonds and above donned their fancy apparel for the black tie party, which included a toast from CEO Stewart Hughes, exciting entertainment, and a multi-course meal with the best dining the city had to offer.
GLIC officially opened on Saturday with a hearty welcome from Unicity executives and exciting new product announcements. This year’s theme, “It’s time to feel great!” took center stage as Unicity scientists walked us through how Unicity products, alongside intermittent fasting, actually can help us feel great. After the session, attendees got to be the first to try Unicity’s newest products: Unimate Black and Vivid Nutrition. (For those who missed it, Unimate Black will be ready for you to purchase in just a few weeks! Vivid Nutrition will be released in North America this fall.)
Feel Great is an effective business tool too, which was the focus on Sunday. Distributors showed us the many ways they’ve incorporated feeling great into their lives and businesses and how they’ve used the program to support Unicity’s vision to Make Life Better.
Our Celebrate U event was extra special this year as we recognized 500 Distributors who have achieved a new rank, including every rank from Director to Global Ambassador. Despite the challenges of the past few years, the Unicity family has stepped up and found ways to grow their businesses anyway—and we’re not slowing down any time soon.
Those being recognized glowed under the spotlight, and we capped off the event with live performances and special effects. It was a night Distributors won’t soon forget.
All of this action and learning took place in one of the most vibrant and exciting places in the world. From the sights to the food to the nightlife, Bangkok was the perfect setting to reunite with old friends, make new ones, and receive valuable business training and inspiration you can’t get anywhere else. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!
