The energy to have a full, productive day. The ability to be physically active. The mental focus to fully experience life. A few pounds lost. Good digestion.
These are just a few of the definitions people come up with for what it means to feel great. It’s something everyone wants, but it means something different to each of us. Unicity’s Feel Great Program is taking the world by a storm because it actually helps people accomplish their goals to feel great—whatever that looks like for them.
2 products, 1 practice
The Feel Great program is simple. It combines two supplements—Unicity Balance and Unimate—with intermittent fasting to help you feel your best, without overly strict diet and exercise requirements.
Unimate: An ultra-concentrated and purified yerba mate drink. Yerba mate’s unique blend of plant compounds is known to improve mood, heighten mental clarity, and suppress appetite.
Balance: A patented blend of fibers, nutrients, and plant compounds designed to aid in digestion and weight management and to help lessen glucose spikes after meals.
Intermittent fasting: Time-based eating that can help the body maintain normal, healthy insulin levels and tap into stored fat (instead of glucose) for energy.
While the Feel Great program does make it easier to feel great long term, it’s a bit of an adjustment at first. Any change for the better can look intimidating from the outset, but that’s just a sign that you’re on the right track.
If you find there are specific aspects of the Feel Great program you struggle with, use these tips as your guide to success. You can do it!
Unimate: Mental support
Lack of focus and energy can be a major barrier in achieving your goals. This makes Unimate, which comes in several flavors, a shoe-in for the Feel Great program. Starting your day with Unimate means setting yourself up for success from the get-go.
Rich source of chlorogenic acids, theobromine, mate saponins, and antioxidants
Supports energy and concentration
No added sugar
Supports feelings of well-being and relaxation
Unimate pulls double duty by making it easier to make better choices for your health—it’s a win-win! If you’re unsure about Unimate, here are a few tips to remember.
Drink first thing in the morning to start your day off strong. You can also drink it any time you need extra support, such as before an important meeting or test, before a workout, or any time you need a pick-me-up.
Flavor too strong? Add more water.
Don’t be afraid to mix it up a little! Try it with sparkling water, add it to a sugar-free beverage, or try it hot or cold—whatever fits your mood (or the weather).
Balance: Physical support
Each day we make choices that affect our bodies. Food in particular affects all the systems of the body, which is why it is important to eat well. However, making perfect food choices day after day isn’t going to last very long. This is where Unicity Balance stakes its claim as the second core product in the Feel Great program: It works behind the scenes to keep your body well maintained, so you don’t have to work so hard.
Supports normal, healthy blood glucose levels
Helps you feel fuller for longer so you can curb appetite between meals
Fights the post-meal energy spike and crash, stabilizing energy levels throughout the day
For best results, drink Balance 10–15 minutes before your two largest meals of the day. (But don’t stress if you drink it just a few minutes before you eat.) Here are some other useful tips to keep in mind:
Mix with cool water only.
Shake well and drink immediately.
Digestion issues? Cut down to one a day for a few weeks and work your way up to two a day once your body adjusts.
Intermittent fasting: A smarter way to eat
You may have noticed that both Unimate and Balance help keep you satiated. This is one of the reasons we recommend these two products with intermittent fasting (IF); with these supplements, you won’t have to rely on willpower to succeed at intermittent fasting!
Unicity recommends the 16:8 IF method, which means fasting for 16 hours and eating during the remaining eight hours. This is easier than it sounds, as most of this fasting happens while you’re asleep (between your last meal of the day and your first meal the next day). For most people, this means either no snacking after dinner or skipping breakfast the next morning (or drinking Unimate instead, which doesn’t break your fast!).
Still, if you find yourself struggling with the 16:8 IF schedule, here are a few other things you can do:
Pick a fasting window that works for you. The 16:8 method typically means fasting from 8 p.m. to noon the next day, but if you need a good breakfast in the morning, try starting your fast at 5 or 6 p.m. the previous day so you can eat breakfast at 9 or 10 a.m.
Cut back on fasting time (12 to 14 hours). You’ll see optimal results from fasting for 16 hours, but if you need to shorten that window while your body adjusts, that’s okay! Just be sure to wait at least one hour before consuming any calories in the morning and avoid eating two to three hours before you go to bed.
It’s okay to “fail.” One bad day isn’t going to ruin any progress you’ve made.
IF takes time to get used to, but the results are well worth it. For more tips, take a look at these intermittent fasting do’s and don’ts.
