What Is Chlorophyll?

Chlorophyll is the green pigment found in plants that helps turn sunlight into energy.


It was discovered in 1906 and was the first time magnesium was detected in living tissue.


Two types of chlorophyll exist: Chlorophyll A and B.


Green vegetables rich in chlorophyll are also a good source of vitamins A, K, C and E!


It is recommended that you get 100 mg of chlorophyll per day:


100 g spinach = 115 mg 100 g parsley = 212 mg

100 g green beans = 16 mg 100 g kale = 230 mg 100 g broccoli = 32 mg
